Please Join us for a Ayurvedic Mini Retreat for Spring!
Our retreat offers a chance to slow down and bask in the beautiful energy of nature in Springtime.
Participants will enjoy a refreshing and fun yoga class for all levels.
Bridget will lead a discussion on tapping into this season of abundant growth in Virginia with Ayurvedic methods for diet and self-care. She will offer routines to guide participants through the transition from Spring into the warmer months of Summer and each guest will get some special wellness treats to take home.
Ingrid will provide a glorious group dinner made with fresh and local ingredients based on Ayurvedic principles. Bridget and Ingrid will be available to discuss Ayurvedic principles and cooking methods during the feast.
Participants will get to take home all recipes to start on their own path of recharging during this beautiful time of year
It is incredibly fun and enormously satisfying to teach yoga to pregnant women. Many women come to yoga for the first time during pregnancy, and this is a valuable opportunity to help them fall in love with the practice! As a prenatal yoga teacher, you will accompany women as they grow and change in pregnancy, and help them positively face their challenges and fears using the tools of yoga.
"Engage your bandhas!" says the teacher. But do you really know what you are engaging and how vital bandhas – the internal "locks" – are for an effective yoga practice?
Highly recommended for all yoga practitioners (male and female). Beginners and experienced practitioners of all vinyasa-based styles of yoga are welcome. Space is limited. Please register early to secure your place.
In her 29 years of teaching, Cathy Louise has become known for an intuitive touch that can transform your yoga practice. Teachers and students are invited to learn more about her hands-on work, and experience for themselves how to give and receive safe and effective adjustments.
The adjustments taught in this workshop are useful for practitioners and teachers of any style of yoga.
